Here Teachers,Parents and Students can find a collection of games and activities in order to help student to improve understanding in math skills such as the following:

• Identify two-dimensional shapes.
• Count and compare sides and vertices.
• Count vertices, edges and faces.

#### Parallelogram

Opposite sides are parallel

Opposite sides are equal in length

Opposite angles are equal (angles a,g are the same, and angles d,B are the same)

Angles a,d and g,B add up to 180°, so they are supplementary angles.

#### Rectangle

A rectangle is a four-sided shape where every angle is a right angle (90°).

A Rectangle is a Parallelogram (Opposite sides are parallel and of equal length)

#### Square

A Square is a shape with 4 equal sides and every angle is a right angle (90°)

A Square is a Parallelogram (Opposite sides are parallel and of equal length)

#### Trapezoid

A trapezoid has a pair of parallel sides

A trapezoid is an Isosceles trapezoid when both angles coming from a parallel side are equal, and the sides that aren't parallel are equal in length.

#### Circle

All points are the same distance from the center

#### Pentagon

A pentagon is a 5-sided Polygon

When all angles are equal and all sides are equal it is regular, otherwise it is irregular

#### Hexagon

A Hexagon is a 6-sided Polygon

When all angles are equal and all sides are equal it is regular, otherwise it is irregular

#### Identify Plane Shapes and Solid Shapes

In this game, students practice plane shapes and solid shapes. At the start of the game we will see a ball that moves perpetually, some shapes and some obstacles. We control the ball with a paddle. We will see some shapes appear and to move slowly downward. On the upper part of the screen we will see some asked shapes: a) One category of shapes (plane shapes or solid shapes) b) one specific plane shape (e.g. Square) and c) one specific solid shape (e.g. Cube). If we hit one asked shape we will take some points. If the game asks plane shapes and we hit a plane shape (e.g. rectangle) we take 1 point, otherwise if the ball hit a solid shape we lose 1 point. If the game asks a specific plane shape (e.g. triangle) and we hit with the ball this shape we will take 5 points. If the game asks a specific solid shape (e.g. Cone) and we hit this shape we will take 5 points.
